Once upon a time there was a gaming company that developed the most badass game console ever, so cool to look like a Dream-Cast! Enough with the pun gamers, today we are going to review a Sega Dreamcast console so amazing that will make you desire to get one for yourself too! During the fierce consoles war in the late 90's Sony and Sega were the 2 main forces in the market. Sony, thanks to the incredibly success of the Playstation, leaved the Saturn behind and it seemed the end for Sega. Sega wasn't ready to give up yet as a new project was about to start after the Saturn defeat. It's the year 1998 and Sega present to the world the brand new Dreamcast. The Sega Dreamcast was a true gaming masterpiece. 16 MB RAM, 8 MB video RAM, 2 MB audio RAM, internet support and online play made it the most powerful gaming system ever at the time but what really made it great was the outstanding exclusive titles that would have changed video games history forever! Crazy Taxi, Sonic Adventure, Jet Set Radio and Shenmue to name a few were really incredible and innovative games that keep their appealing intact still nowadays! Unfortunately the best dreams are the ones that don't last and just after 3 years and 9.13 million units sold, Sega Dreamcast production was suspended. The arrival of PS2 in 1999 represented a really tough competitor for Sega and just after a year of battle against Sony, Sega abandoned the console business forever. Sega fought well and gave to the world a real gem and the amazing custom Sonic 10th anniversary Sega Dreamcast we can admire here was made the customizer Zoki64, well known for his amazing retro console artworks! Sonic and the Dreamcast, 2 icons of gaming combining together in 1 outstanding yet simple custom project that reminds us that video games treasure can live on forever gamers!
